Breeding Stock Paint Mare 3 years 14.2 hands
We have her official name listed but she is and always will be THE Huppie. We originally rescued her at the age of four months when she had been abandoned by her owner because she was 'just a filly'. How sad. At nine months we placed her in what we believed was her 'forever' home but she was returned to us at the age of two because of family problems and because she was going to be 'too small' for competition as a barrel horse. We were surprised to hear that because we had placed her as a pleasure horse only... In any case she has grown a great deal and is now 14.2 hands. We expect she may get a bit bigger in the next year. Excellent ground manners, loads well. She is an 'in your pocket', type of a horse, very right brained and wants badly to be near you. She has a beautiful, suspended trot and would make a lovely carriage horse. She can only leave our care if we find a forever home were she can make the connection that she really needs.
